Practical information

Terms of service

General information about booking, payment and how consultations work. If in doubt, please confirm before booking.

This page gathers practical information about contacts and bookings made from this website. It does not replace informed consent, the specific conditions of each clinic or the information provided in the appropriate context of each service.

Services and framework

Consultations are intended for psychological support and follow-up, in person or online, and are conducted according to clinical assessment and applicable professional standards.

Bookings and payment

Bookings depend on the availability shown or confirmed. Online consultations are subject to payment before the consultation; payment details are confirmed during the booking process.

Changes and cancellations

Whenever possible, changes or cancellations should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance, so the schedule can be reorganised and the slot made available to another person.

Delays

In case of delay, the consultation may still end at the originally scheduled time, so that following appointments are not affected.

Online consultations and informed consent

Online consultations require a private, quiet space and a stable internet connection. Before starting or continuing psychological support, the essential aspects of the process are clarified, including goals, limits, confidentiality, practical conditions and available alternatives. They are not intended for emergencies or situations of immediate risk.

Medicare agreement

The Medicare agreement applies to online consultations and in-person consultations at Clínica Queluzmédica. It does not apply to in-person consultations at Clínica Freud, driver psychological assessments, vocational guidance, reports, declarations or other services.

Reports and documents

Reports, declarations or other professional documents are prepared only when clinically appropriate and previously agreed, and may have separate conditions and fees.

Privacy and emergencies

Information shared is protected by professional confidentiality, under the applicable terms. For personal data information, see the Privacy Policy. In an emergency, contact 112 or the appropriate emergency services.
