Can I have a psychology consultation in English?
Yes. Psychology consultations can be held in English or Portuguese, either in person in Lisbon or Queluz, or online. The language used is agreed according to what feels most comfortable and useful for the person.
You do not need to arrive at the first consultation with everything explained. The process can begin precisely by trying to better understand what is being experienced.

An initial moment to understand the reason for the appointment, the current context and what may be most useful to work on.
Defining the support
The path is shaped together, without assuming a fixed duration or frequency for everyone.
Working over time
Sessions allow for exploring experiences, recognising patterns and building new ways of dealing with difficulties and moments of change.
Fees and practical information
At Clínica Freud, consultations cost €60 per session. The Medicare agreement applies to online consultations and to in-person consultations at Clínica Queluzmédica, but not to in-person consultations at Clínica Freud.

The work is carried out within the professional framework of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses.
